History + Movement = Education
“Honoring our roots” is a culturally robust dance centered curriculum that pairs the history of dance and the physical practice to honor the roots and develop well-rounded dancers. Focuses heavily on arts integration and collaborative dance making. This curriculum includes modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and dance composition designed for 4th-12th graders.
“From the Soil” is a 4-part methodology that teaches dancers (at any age) to become choreographers and develop their artistic voice in a way that allows them to be agents for change. She’s taught this methodology to hundreds of students and now goes into schools as a resident artist to teach this methodology.
